Makes 5 1.5" x 1.5" x 1.5" soil blocks.  Accepts dowel pins, but
do not use the cubic pins in the Mini 5 because the side walls
will be too thin and crumble.  The convenient 1.5" works for
every seed and delivers an efficient 5 blocks per stroke.
Best for small sized seeds that aren't slow to germiniate like:  
arugula, cilantro, spinach, lettuce, onions, herbs and flowers.  
Or, a great option for southern gardeners whose plants are set
outside a lot sooner than the north.  My personal favorite
hand-held unit for growing salad greens.   I love to make large
flats of them, seed mesclun salad mix in them, and cut the
greens while they're still in the block and tray.  Comes packed
